The proper measurement is crucial in ensuring that your product fits, and is ready to go out of the box. In this section I will explain how to take proper measurements for each product to achieve the perfect fit.
RADIO STRAP MEASUREMENTS
There are two ways to measure for proper radio strap fitment. You can measure off an old radio strap, or with a piece of rope or webbing. The straps are adjustable, but with having a measurement, the middle hole will be at your desired length.
-OLD RADIO STRAP: If measuring off an old radio strap, unclip the strap from the radio bucket and lay the the strap on a flat surface. Measure from one end to the other, INCLUDING THE METAL CLIPS AT EACH END in the total length.
-MEASURING WITH A PIECE OF ROPE OR WEBBING: Use a piece of rope or webbing as this will fit more flat to your body and give a true measurement. Take the piece of rope or webbing and place it across your body as a radio strap would go. You will measure from where you want the top of the radio (channel and volume nobs) to sit on your side.
SUSPENDER MEASUREMENTS
All of these measurements should be taken with a piece of rope or webbing as most stock suspenders that come with turnout gear has some form of elastic. Also each measurement should be taken with bunker pants on, over the old suspenders, to ensure a proper fit. Get someone to help with these measurements to ensure that the measurement is correct.
-H-BACK SUSPENDER MEASUREMENT: Put on bunker pants and suspenders and make sure that the waist line of the bunker pants is at the desired height. Take your rope or webbing and measure from the end of the current suspenders or waist line if you do not have suspenders. You will measure from the front left, to the back left. This measurement should match the opposite side (front right to back right). Put this measurement, in inches, in your order.
-BULL RING SUSPENDER MEASUREMENT: Put on bunker pants and suspenders and make sure that the waist line of the bunker pants is at the desired height. Take your rope or webbing and measure from the end of the current suspenders, or waist line if you do not have suspenders. You will measure from the front left, to the back right. This measurement should match the opposite side (front right to back left). Put this measurement in inches, in your order.

Firefighter / Shop Owner
Thank you so much for visiting the site! I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a part of the fire service since 2009. One of the things I love most in the fire service is the tradition of the job. It is constantly changing, but it is important to hold onto these traditions.
Leather has been used in the fire service since the 1800's and is still going strong today. I am trying to keep this tradition alive by making quality leather products that are designed to go to work.
Over the years, I have owned many leather products designed for the fire service. I realized that there were many products on the market that had different parts/designs that I liked, but not one product that had everything I wanted -- so that's when I set out to make my own. After my initial designs where produced, I went to members and mentors of the fire service to get their input. The feedback from firefighters on the job is what made my products what they are today, and for that I am thankful.
I feel I offer a top-quality product without breaking the bank. I take so much pride in the fire service and in the opportunity to make leather goods for people on the job.
Once again, thank you so much for taking time to look through the products I have to offer and if there is anything I can help you with, feel free to reach out. I look forward to serving you.
